It can be very easy for many of us to go about our daily lives, perhaps forgetting the struggles that people face. HiHFW aims are to help where they can through feeding programmes and small projects.

We are made aware of these needs through people ‘on the ground’ who we have worked with for many years. We do not invite projects or requests for support from outside of our connections.

Despite set backs and influences from around the world, the feeding programmes we are involved in continue to reach some 3500 stomachs per week - we continue to be amazed by your generosity and love for these young people. Thank you.

Staying Safe in Covid Times

Wherever you are in the world at the moment, the main topic of conversation is COVID!

Towards the end of last year, we were speaking with Foundation Zimbabwe about the children and it was mentioned how important it is to try and keep them safe in these difficult times. It was suggested that Face Visors would be a great help in these challenging times as we all endeavor to do our bit to help defeat the virus!

By the end of 2016, we had finished all our home visits to finalise the introduction of 50 new children onto the feeding programme at the Caledonia Rose Centre. We are now feeding 250 children every day during the term and approximately 170 during the holidays
